The newly installed overlord of the Ga State (Ga Mantse), His Majesty King Dr. Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II has pledged his support to the Eco Medical Village Project. His Majesty King Tackie made this pledge when he today paid a working visit to the offices of the Eco Medical Village Ltd and called on the Founder and CEO of the company, Mr. Ahiekpor.

His Majesty King Tackie in his address spoke of the Ga state’s intended cooperation with Eco Medical village in bringing this project to fruition. He stressed the need for the provision of healthcare services to both the poor and needy as well as the indigenes of the Ga state. The main aim of his visit was to acquaint himself with the Eco Medical Village project through its’ operations and activities as the project news greatly sparked his attention. He mentioned about some of his goals for the Ga state of which quality healthcare delivery for the indigenes was a priority.

In his response, the CEO, Mr. Ahiekpor said that the Eco Medical Village had met all conditions of the Bill & Melinda Gates’ Foundation on health infrastructure needed to receive funding for the provision of health services to the less privileged and needy. He also indicated progress on the project was being made and assured the King the project will meet his intended goals for his people.

The King’s accompanying delegation consisted of some of his Council of Elders including Nii Tetteh Okai Mensah II (Abolabiam Dzaetse), Nii Ayi Tumma II, Nii Ahene Nunoo III (Abola Mantse), Ga sei  Wulu  Asafoatse Nukpa, Asafoatse Ganyobi Nii kotei II (Asere), Nii Ardey Ansah –Hill (stool secretary -Asere), Gayobi Kotey kotei (Asafoatse) and captain Nii kojo Nseni Mankattah IV.

His Majesty King Tackie thanked the Eco Medical Village Team for the initiative and pledged his full support for the successful Implementation of the project in Accra Republic of Ghana.

The Ga State is one of the major ethnic groups in Ghana and has the settlement of the Ga People with geographic location within the Greater Accra Region. This region houses the Capital and administrative city of Ghana, Accra where the ultra-modern Eco Medical Village Medical Project is set to be built.
